“Clinging on for dear life, an orphaned orangutan refuses to let go of her surrogate mother’s leg.

This touching photo shows how comfortable baby Kalabatu has become with her carer at Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre in Borneo.

When the one-year-old first arrived at the conservation centre after her mother was killed, Kalabatu looked after herself.

She calmed her nerves by wrapping a towel around her head.” (via daily mail)
